In recognition that most members of Pack 145 attend Spring Valley Elementary, the Bear and Webelos Dens will be participating in the Spring Valley Skate Night on 10/15.

Instead of meeting at our usual time of 7pm at the Shack, we will meet at 6pm to allow the Webelos to continue recording progress on their physical activity charts.  It will not take long, and we will then proceed to the skating rink.

The event is taking place from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Landmark Skate Center, 701 S.E. Oldham Ct., Lee's Summit, MO.  (SE corner of 50 Hwy & M-291 North [Hamblen Rd], behind Perkins, across from the Home Depot)

The cost is $4.50 (including skates if you don't have your own).  Parents can skate for $2.00.

All pack members who attend (and skate at least 30 minutes) will qualify for the Roller Skating Belt Loop, and be able to receive it at the October Pack Meeting on October 29, 2009.

For the Webelos, earning this belt loop will help them towards earning the Sportsman Activity Badge.
